Started in 1970 by the now-legendary Scot Breithaupt, SE Racing is known as one of the most innovative BMX companies of all time. A true originator, SE is credited with starting and growing the sport of organized BMX racing (and sparking the freestyle movement) and creating some of the best-designed BMX frames ever. The relationship between DC and SE Racing started in 2007 with a special limited edition re-release of the infamous P.K. Ripper bike and the creation of a matching shoe (www.dcshoes.com/pkripper). SE followed up the project in 2008 with a limited DC/SE re-release of the Quadangle, this time in a supersized 24″ frame (www.dcshoes.com/quad). Bikes and race gear gained instant fame, and went on to not only define the SE aesthetic but also set a stylistic trend for the rest of the industry. Like its redecessor, this model features SE wings on the lateral sides, custom branding on the tongue, a „P.K. Ripper“ hit on the heel, and custom mag wheel insole artwork.
